One year for Easter, we attached the following poem to a bag full of jelly beans for the kids to take home:
Jelly Bean Prayer
Red is for the blood He gave. (Mosiah 3:11)
Green is for the grass He made. (Genesis 1:11)
Yellow is for the sun so bright. (3 Nephi 1:14-15)
Orange is for the edge of night. (Luke 24:1)
Black is for the sins that were made. (Matthew 26:28)
White is for the grace He gave. (2 Nephi 25:23)
Purple is for the hour of sorrow. (Mark 15:17-20)
Pink is for the new tomorrow. (Moroni 10:7)
An egg full of jelly beans, Colorful and sweet.
Is a prayer...is a promise... Is an Easter treat!
